You can post a game using PGN and ask ChatGPT to make a move, but I didn't find a lot of success with it. The moves it was making didn't make much sense.

I also saw examples of people describing puzzles with natural language (e.g. https://www.reddit.com/r/chess/comments/zab5s8/chatgpt_a_chatbot_ai_model_built_on_gpt3_just/) but this feels quite unreliable so your mileage may vary.
